New Jersey Developments announced plans for Jamila, a new residential project on Egypt’s North Coast with initial investments of around EGP 50bn, as part of its strategy to expand its land portfolio and create integrated, sustainable communities. The project is located 263 km from Cairo and spans 130 feddans, offering chalets, duplexes, hotel apartments, studios, standalone units, townhouses and villas. All units have sea views and range from 75 to 217 square metres.

Jamila was scheduled for completion within three years, with handover expected in 2027. Beyond housing, the development is planned to include a five-star hotel (the article names Marriott International as manager), a shopping mall with international brands, restaurants, cafés and shops, plus lakes, a clubhouse, a gym, a spa, swimming pools and underground parking.

The article also notes progress on Green Avenue in the New Administrative Capital and on Jura El Galala in Ain Sokhna, where handover of the hotel-serviced units was expected to begin the following year.

“The progress of our projects, Green Avenue and Jura Galala, along with the launch of Jamila, reflects our unwavering commitment to our expansion plan.”
